Lack of Food Safety Integration in Rwanda Hinders Sustainable Development Goals
Food safety is crucial for sustainable food systems and health, as well as achieving United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. In Rwanda, food safety has not been integrated into agriculture and nutrition programs, impacting the success of these initiatives and potentially hindering progress towards multiple SDGs. By prioritizing food safety and involving all stakeholders, Rwanda can improve the effectiveness of sustainable development programs and ensure better food, nutrition security, and overall development outcomes.
