The article explores how to make fruit and vegetable businesses in Spain more sustainable. The researchers used a method called Triple Layered Business Model Canvas to study how sustainability can be integrated into these businesses. They found that sustainability goals can be included in the business model framework, even though there were challenges with limited data. By looking at the industry as a whole, companies can better understand how to make their operations more environmentally friendly and socially fair. This study shows that new business models can be created by focusing on different areas to improve the sustainability of fruit and vegetable products.
