The economic analysis of goat enterprises in Kathmandu district compared small and commercial goat businesses. Large enterprises had higher returns, fixed costs, and variable costs than small ones. Small enterprises had lower per unit goat costs and gross profits, but similar benefit cost ratios. Small enterprises had a lower break-even point than commercial ones. Overall, there was no significant difference in production costs and income between small and commercial goat enterprises in Kathmandu district.
