Unhealthy banks outnumber healthy ones in Indonesia, study finds.
The study grouped conventional commercial banks in Indonesia into healthy, unhealthy, and unhealthy clusters using the K-Means Clustering method. The main findings are: Bank Rakyat Indonesia, Bank Mandiri, and Bank Central Asia are healthy banks; West Java and Banten Banks, BTPN Bank, CIMB Niaga Bank, and others are unhealthy banks; and many others fall into the unhealthy bank category.
