A bus tour was held in South Carolina to teach private forest landowners about managing their forests. The tour showed the life cycle of a loblolly pine forest, from harvest to maturity. After evaluating the tour, it was found that it helped increase landowners' knowledge and their intent to manage their forests better. This could lead to healthier forests in the state.
