Australian Muslim women are exploring how their gender impacts their efforts to combat Islamophobia. They believe that being a woman matters in this work and are looking at ways to address the perceptions of both non-Muslims and Muslim men. Through interviews with women from different Muslim backgrounds, it was found that they play a crucial role in countering Islamophobia and are actively involved in education initiatives.
