The study looked at how the coastline in Kerala is changing over time. They used special software and satellite images to see how erosion and accretion are affecting the land near the sea. The results showed that the Malabar coastline is shrinking due to erosion. Different parts of the study area experienced varying rates of erosion and growth. This research shows that the tools used can help us understand how shorelines are changing and the extent of erosion happening along the Malabar coast.
