Low ovarian reserve not linked to miscarriage risk in young women
Low ovarian reserve, as indicated by AMH or AFC, does not predict miscarriage in young women conceiving with ART. The study found that the risk of miscarriage is not related to low levels of AMH or AFC in women under 35 undergoing fertility treatments. The research was conducted at a hospital in Milan and included women who achieved a pregnancy through IVF or IUI. The study showed that age, rather than ovarian reserve, is the main factor influencing the risk of miscarriage in these cases.
