Soil management boosts soil structure for healthier crops and environment.
The study aimed to predict soil structure parameters like mean weight diameter and water stability percentage based on soil properties like organic matter, porosity, and texture. Soil samples from different sites in Basra Governorate were analyzed, showing that these parameters can be predicted using linear equations. Cultivated soil had higher structural values, especially with more clay and silt. Changes in soil constituents had a greater impact on water stability percentage compared to mean weight diameter. Multiple linear correlation equations can be used to predict these parameters accurately.
