High-tech industries in China play a crucial role in boosting profits and driving economic growth. A study looked at how efficient these industries are at innovating during the 13th Five-Year Plan. By using a three-stage analysis model, researchers found that different regions in China vary in their innovation production efficiency. The Eastern region is the most efficient, the Western region has potential for growth, and the Central region needs to improve its technology inputs to enhance efficiency. These findings can help policymakers make informed decisions to support innovation in high-tech industries.
