New hybrid crop yields record green fodder in Rohilkhand region.
A study was conducted on a CO5BN crop to see how its yield changed over several years. The crop showed increasing yield from the first to third year, then decreased in the fourth year. The re-growth of the crop in subsequent years was good, with similar yields in the first, second, and fifth years. The maximum green fodder yield was achieved in the third year. It was found that the crop can be grown for 5-6 years with good practices, leading to consistent and economic production. The crop produced the highest yield in August-September.
