A new translation system was created to make neural machine translation better by combining it with statistical machine translation. The system was tested for translating between Slovenian and English in both directions. By comparing the translations from both systems, the new hybrid system was able to choose the best one. The experiment showed that this hybrid system improved the translation quality significantly, with an increase in accuracy for both directions.
