Hydropower generation forecasting is crucial for a stable power grid. A new method was developed to predict hydropower generation by considering the influence of nearby plants. The model, EEMD-LSTM, uses data from neighboring plants and meteorological factors to improve accuracy. Testing on a real hydropower plant showed that this model effectively enhances prediction accuracy.
