Optimizing nitrogen and FYM levels boosts maize yield and protein content.
A study looked at how different levels of nitrogen and organic fertilizer affected the growth, yield, and protein content of spring maize. They found that increasing nitrogen levels led to higher grain yield, with the highest yield seen at the highest nitrogen level. Adding organic fertilizer also increased grain yield, with the best results seen at a moderate level. The combination of moderate organic fertilizer and high nitrogen levels resulted in the highest grain yield.
