Mozambique's ODF Districts Struggle to Achieve Sanitation Goals by 2030
Mozambique aims to improve sanitation and end open defecation by 2030. Many people still lack proper facilities, especially in rural areas. Without changes, it may take until 2068 to become open defecation free. To speed up progress, the government approved a strategy to use Community-led Total Sanitation. UNICEF is helping with sanitation programs in different provinces.
