A study was done to see how cutting branches of bottle gourd plants affects their growth and fruit quality. They tried different cutting methods and found that cutting 25% of the primary and secondary branches gave the best results. This method led to more female flowers, longer vines, more fruits per plant, higher yield, sweeter fruits, and a better cost-benefit ratio compared to other methods.
