Groundbreaking Heating System Boosts Efficiency by 21% and Cuts Energy Consumption
To reduce high energy consumption for heating in areas with extreme temperatures, a study used TRNSYS software to model a heating system in Baotou City. By combining solar collectors with a ground source heat pump and water tank, the energy efficiency ratio increased by 21.2% compared to using only a water tank for heating. This approach also led to a 3.23% decrease in energy consumption. Additionally, the combined system was found to be more environmentally beneficial than using just a water tank for heating.
