Perception gap revealed: Local government service delivery falls short of expectations.
The study looked at how people feel about the services provided by local government in Malaysia. They compared the opinions of the public who use these services with the staff who work for the government. The goal was to see if there were differences in how satisfied they were with the services. They surveyed 347 members of the public and 105 government staff in three areas in Kedah. The results showed that there were differences in how the public and staff viewed the quality of services provided by the government.
