Coastal Farmland in Guangdong Province Undergoing Low-Carbon Transformation Shifts
The study looked at how farmland use in coastal areas of Guangdong Province changed from 2000 to 2020 to become more environmentally friendly and reduce carbon emissions. They found that most areas saw a decrease in these changes over time, with the best improvements in the east and west. The factors that drove these changes were mainly economic, social, and environmental, with social factors having the biggest impact.
