Boost Crop Productivity with Seasonal Green Manures: Study Reveals Best Performers
Field experiments were done to see how different seasons affect the growth of three types of green manures. Sesbania rostrata did best in the rainy season, producing the most biomass and nitrogen. Sesbania aculeata was next best, with more root nodules. Crotalaria juncea didn't do as well, producing less biomass and nitrogen.
