The researchers examined how well a Sequential Batch Reactor (SBR) can clean up sewage in India. They looked at the levels of harmful chemicals in the wastewater before and after treatment. The results showed that the SBR reduced the levels of these chemicals by 85-90%. This study suggests that SBRs are effective at treating domestic wastewater and could be a good solution for pollution caused by untreated sewage.
