Internal migration in Kurigram District, Bangladesh helps reduce poverty. Researchers collected data from 300 people, including migrants and their families. They found that living standards improved after migration. Factors like socio-economic status influenced migration decisions. This study fills gaps in existing research by using primary data to understand the causes and effects of internal migration on poverty.
