The study looked at how factors like Human Development Index, Gender Ratio, and Inflation affect the Open Unemployment Rate in Medan City. They used data from 2005-2020 and analyzed it using multiple linear regression. The results showed that higher Human Development Index was linked to lower unemployment rates, while a higher Gender Ratio and lower Inflation were associated with higher unemployment rates in Medan City. Overall, these three factors together had a significant impact on the open unemployment rate in the city.
