A new weather forecasting model called Pangu-Weather has been tested and found to work well with different existing weather prediction systems. By improving the initial conditions used in the model, its forecasting accuracy can be enhanced. This model, based on machine learning, has been shown to be as accurate as traditional numerical weather prediction systems.
