New Rice Study Unlocks Secrets to Boosting Grain Yield Per Plant!
The study looked at different traits in rice plants and found a lot of variation in them. The total number of spikelets and grain yield per plant showed the most variation. Grain yield per plant was closely linked to panicle weight, number of ear bearing tillers, and plant height. The number of ear bearing tillers had the biggest impact on grain yield, followed by plant height and 100-grain weight.
