Sulphur levels boost soybean and cowpea yields, revolutionizing crop production.
The study looked at how different levels of sulphur affected the yield and nutrient content of soybean, greengram, blackgram, and cowpea crops. They found that adding sulphur to the soil led to increased crop yield, especially for soybean and cowpea. The plants also absorbed more nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and sulphur with higher sulphur levels. A lower ratio of nitrogen to sulphur in the plants was linked to lower crop yields.
