A new robot called RoboChain-I was designed to inspect pipelines. It can change its shape to fit different pipe sizes and shapes. Unlike other robots, RoboChain-I has flexible joints that help it move through complex pipelines easily. Tests showed that RoboChain-I can move well in different types of pipelines.
