Lessons Learned Process Transforms Organizational Culture, Boosts Efficiency
The ESA Directorate of Operations has been using a Lessons Learned process since 2007 to improve their working practices and services. They introduced Key Effectiveness Indicators to measure the success of this process, focusing on timeliness as a key factor. By analyzing the data collected, they found areas for improvement and strengths in the process. This shows that continual improvement in the organization depends on the effectiveness of the Lessons Learned process itself, not just on the lessons learned.
