Outdated laws hinder small businesses in reaching online markets effectively.
Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Thailand face challenges in marketing and distributing their products. Current legal measures aimed at promoting SMEs lack effectiveness due to inconsistent policies and lack of coordination among implementing agencies. Laws related to direct selling and franchising hinder SMEs' growth by imposing impractical requirements. The existing legal framework does not adequately support SMEs in online distribution channels. Legal reforms are needed to enhance the distribution channels for SMEs in Thailand and improve their market competitiveness.
