Mixing Food Waste with Cow Dung Boosts Biogas Production Dramatically
The goal of the research was to find the best way to make biogas from a mix of food waste and cow manure. They collected organic waste from different places and broke it into small pieces. By combining mixed food waste and cow dung waste, they produced the most biogas at 45⁰C. The temperature, pH, and retention time all affect biogas production. Mixing organic materials with different C:N ratios can help get the best biogas yield. Changing the C:N ratio of organic waste can improve pH stability and increase biogas production. It's important to study how different types of organic waste and various factors impact biogas production for the best results.
