This study looked at using blockchain technology to prevent unauthorized land title deeds. By analyzing the current problems with unauthorized deeds and exploring how blockchain can help, the researchers found that blockchain ensures transparent transactions and prevents tampering with deeds. It also helps verify if officials followed legal processes when issuing deeds, reducing the time taken to issue deeds from 153 days to just 3 days. Additionally, using blockchain can potentially lead to changes in laws or regulations to better prevent unauthorized land deeds.
