Within the GLZM, the general linear model (GLM) is a sub-framework that uses the normal distribution. GLM can be used for common statistical tests like t-tests and linear regression, to compare samples and find relationships between them. It can handle multiple variables and analyze them simultaneously. The chapter also discusses using multiple models for analysis and presents alternatives to GLM within the GLZM framework.
