Firm age, size, and leverage negatively impact firm value.
The study looked at how corporate social responsibility, debt, company age, and size affect the value of firms. They analyzed data from 16 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2017 to 2021. The results showed that these factors together have a significant impact on predicting firm value. However, only corporate social responsibility did not directly affect firm value. On the other hand, debt, company age, and size had a negative influence on firm value. Investors consider debt, company age, and size when choosing which firms to invest in because these factors greatly affect firm value.
