Household hazardous waste in Long Xuyen City, An Giang Province was studied. Results showed that each person generates about 0.8395 kg of hazardous waste per year, mostly bottles and jars with dangerous chemicals. Most households don't separate hazardous waste from regular waste, and only 68% use proper hazardous waste services. Improper burning, burial, and selling scrap materials are common disposal methods. Residents know about hazardous waste but don't manage it well.
