The scientists used data-driven models to predict levels of Dissolved Inorganic Nitrogen in coastal waters of Cyprus. By using Artificial Neural Networks, they accurately calculated nitrite, nitrate, and ammonium levels. These models can help identify areas with high DIN levels and suggest ways to protect coastal water quality.
