Overseas Aid Empowers Communities to Achieve Sustainable Development
In Rwanda, a project called Saemaul Undong helped individuals and communities become more sustainable through aid. The study shows that sustainability starts with individuals and grows to whole communities, needing different actions at each level. By examining these processes, the research completed a theory on how to achieve sustainability through aid projects. The findings point out that various interventions and governance structures are needed to move towards sustainability effectively. This study offers insights that can help governments and organizations give the right support depending on the sustainability level needed.
