Bacillus strains outperform in removing organic matter from wastewater

The study looked at how two types of bacteria, Bacillus megaterium and Bacillus mucilaginosus, affected the growth and nutrient uptake of soybean plants. Different treatments were applied to the plants, including seed treatments and foliar applications of the bacteria. The results showed that the best growth and nutrient uptake were seen in plants treated with 100% recommended fertilizer dose along with Bacillus megaterium and Bacillus mucilaginosus as seed treatment and foliar application at specific times.
