Sida cordifolia biomass unlocks potential for sustainable bioethanol production.
The researchers aimed to find the best way to make sugar from Sida cordifolia plants. They tested different temperatures, acid amounts, and times to see what worked best. By using a special method called response surface methodology, they found the perfect conditions to get the most sugar. The best results came from using a temperature of 80°C, acid concentration of 3.50%, and a reaction time of 60 minutes. This means that Sida cordifolia plants could be a good source for making bioethanol and other useful chemicals.
