New Underpass Tunnel at Silpakorn University Proven Cost-Effective and Feasible!
The feasibility study looked at building an underpass tunnel at Silpakorn University using a cut-and-cover method. They calculated the project's income from accident damage and expenses like initial, operating, and maintenance costs over 20 years with a 5% discount rate. Financial tools were used to assess the investment feasibility, resulting in a positive net present value, internal rate of return, benefit-cost ratio, and payback period. The analysis showed that the project is feasible and cost-effective for investment, with low sensitivity to inflation rate fluctuations in Thailand.
