New plant growth-promoting bacteria could revolutionize sustainable soybean cultivation.
Researchers used soybean plants to attract helpful bacteria from different soils. They found 139 bacteria that can help plants grow better by releasing important nutrients like phosphorus and iron. Some bacteria were especially good at this, like Brevibacillus sp. and Pseudomonas fluorescens. These bacteria could be used as natural fertilizers to improve soybean growth and make farming more sustainable.
