The article looks at how different types of crime have changed over the past 16 years. It found that while general crime and serious crimes have gone down, crimes involving modern technology and situational factors have increased. This shows that the situational aspect of crime is on the rise. The author studied situational crime and identified the main factors that contribute to it, including subjective and objective possibilities.
