Green algae can detect harmful antibiotics in water and air.
Excessive use of tetracycline antibiotics in farming can harm workers. This study used green algae Chlorella vulgaris to test tetracycline toxicity. Results showed a strong link between tetracycline levels and algae growth. The method can assess tetracycline toxicity in farm settings.
