Experts have identified seven key principles for successful grazing management, including adaptive management, optimizing stocking rates, using grazing plans, prioritizing ecological health, evaluating distribution, considering animal welfare for better performance, and looking beyond just the range. These principles aim to guide producers and stakeholders in sustainable grazing practices, with room for further refinement and application in teaching and industry evaluation efforts.
