Qualitative research in gerontology is exploring large datasets to understand how long-term care staff balance resident rights, meaningful connections among people with dementia, experiences of terminally ill hospice patients, and successful aging from an Alaska Native perspective. By using multiple datasets and methods, researchers are uncovering diverse strategies for analyzing and managing this data to shed light on important issues in aging.
