Overgrazing Threatens Grassland Communities, Urgent Action Needed to Preserve Biodiversity.
The study looked at how different ways of managing grasslands affect the plants living there. They tested leaving the grassland alone, mowing it once a year, mowing and grazing it, and overgrazing it. The best way to keep the grassland healthy was found to be mowing the main grass and then letting sheep graze on it. The worst way was to overgraze it with sheep. This information is important for understanding how to protect and preserve grassland ecosystems.
