A study in Chhattisgarh looked at how a special fertilizer affected chickpea growth. They found that using the fertilizer mix of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, sulfur, and zinc led to higher seed and stover yields. The best results were seen with 150% of the fertilizer dose, giving the highest seed yield and net returns. However, using 100% of the fertilizer dose still gave a good benefit-to-cost ratio. So, using the 100% dose is the best choice for growing chickpeas in this area.
