Warmer waters spell trouble for African catfish growth and behavior.
Temperature variations significantly impact the behavior and growth of African catfish. The study observed how different temperatures affected the fish over 8 weeks. Changes in behavior were noted by watching feeding and swimming habits, while growth was measured by weight and length. Results show that temperatures between 20-27 ℃ are best for the catfish's growth and well-being. Higher temperatures above 27 ℃ lead to a decrease in growth, especially in weight.
