New Triticale Lines Show Stability Across Varied Growing Conditions in Bulgaria
Researchers studied 12 triticale lines to see how different growing conditions affected their stability and interaction with the environment. They found that 14.8% of the yield variation was due to this interaction. The analysis showed that certain weather conditions during specific growing periods had a big impact on the interaction. Some triticale lines, like Kolorit, G2, and G7, were more stable across different conditions, while others, like G1, G6, and G11, were stable only in certain periods. These findings suggest that these lines could be good for testing in Bulgaria's diverse soil and climate conditions.
