The AutoBPS-Prototype toolkit was created to automatically generate prototype building energy models in China. By inputting climate zone, building type, and vintage, users can quickly create default or customized models. The toolkit covers 20 sub-climate zones, 22 building types, and four code vintages in China. Case studies showed accurate energy consumption predictions compared to real data. The toolkit helps users analyze energy efficiency improvements and the impact of upgrades on building energy consumption. Additional features for retrofit analysis, demand response, and photovoltaic system estimation are in development.
