Results showed that the compost with the highest phosphorus content and longest conditioning time led to more tillers and longer panicles in the rice plants. This treatment also resulted in higher grain and straw yields compared to other compost types. Overall, the study suggests that using phosphorus-enriched compost can improve the growth and yield of kharif rice crops.
